How can i backup my notes?

FastNotice stores all notes and directories in one file. So it would be enough to copy this file on an external data medium like CD-RW. To restore FastNotice in an exceptional case completely, we recommended to store additional the installation program of the suitable version and the activation code. Execute the following steps:

1. Close FastNotice with menu item "Datei/Beenden"
2. Copy the file FASTNOTICE.mdb from the installation directory to the external data medium
   (default path: C:/Programs/Hammoud Production/FastNotice)
3. Copy the activation code in a text file and save this on the external data medium too
4. Save the installation program on the data medium (You can get the installation file on our homepage)

A backup of the data should be done as a rule at least every week. In addition you should save always several versions parallel. Use always a backup program, which makes a checksum test, to guarantee successfuly copying.
